Dig Into CPNA: What Your Neighborhood Association Does and Why It Matters

The Commonwealth Park Neighborhood Association (CPNA) exists to bring neighbors together, strengthen our sense of community, and support the overall well-being of the neighborhood.

Formed by residents who wanted a collective voice, CPNA provides a forum for communication, civic engagement, and collaboration helping ensure Commonwealth Park remains a welcoming and connected place to live.

Our Purpose

As stated in the Association’s bylaws, CPNA is organized to:

Promote the general welfare of the Commonwealth Park neighborhood by encouraging communication, civic involvement, and cooperative action among residents and with local government.

In practice, this means sharing information, supporting neighborhood improvements, fostering community pride, and creating opportunities for neighbors to engage with one another and local leaders.

Board of Directors & Officers

CPNA is led by a volunteer Board of Directors, including officers such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Board members are neighbors who serve the community by:

  • Providing leadership and oversight

  • Facilitating meetings and communication

  • Representing neighborhood interests

  • Supporting activities that benefit residents

Serving on the Board is about stewardship not titles and helping the Association stay focused on what matters most; the neighborhood.

How to Get Involved

  • Attend neighborhood meetings

  • Volunteer or serve on a committee -

  • Run for the Board of Directors or an officer role

📅 Board elections will be held April 28, 2026.
All residents and local stakeholders are encouraged to participate.
